Come see the new 2018 Honda Accord for yourself in Woodlands, Spring, and Huntsville!
Peace of Mind: Standard
Honda’s dedication to customer safety is undoubtedly expressed in their Honda Sensing suite of safety features: collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist system, and traffic sign recognition. Upon its release date, any 2018 Honda Accord that you purchase will come equipped with the whole suite of safety features—no matter the trim. The lineage that earned Accords of the past NHTSA five-star safety ratings* time and again, as well as consistent mention on Car & Driver’s 2018 “10Best” list*, flows into the new 2018 Accord’s DNA.
The Honda Accord has never been one to shy away from accelerative bliss, and it’s not going to start now. 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque are packed into a 1.5 liter turbo four-cylinder. There is also a 2.0 liter turbo four-cylinder that comes equipped with 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Of the two motors, the former will be mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and in the latter, for the first time ever in a front wheel drive car, Honda has engineered a highly efficient ten-speed automatic transmission; it ensures low-end torque, and smooth gear shifts. With either power train option, a six-speed manual transmission is available on the sport trim.
The third power option is the hybrid. It uses the two-motor hybrid powertrain, and it’s been designed in such a way that the battery doesn’t take up additional space. This means that like the gasoline powered versions of the Accord, the hybrid will retain ergonomic utility, such as back seats that fold down for extra cargo. This hybrid will be the Accord’s most efficient to date.
The interior cabin has increased in size, and passengers can fit even more comfortably than ever before. A seven-inch or eight-inch display can be had, depending on trim and option selection. Modern amenities like Android Auto and Apple Car Play help integrate your smart phone’s full functionality into your Accord’s infotainment screen. And with the return of volume and tuning knobs, controlling your media and your radio’s frequencies is now easier than ever.
Any owner of the new 2018 Honda Accord will be accorded with reliability, livability, and all good things that make the Accord, hereafter recognized as accord-ability. Distinction can be made with the addition of Honda’s Genuine Accessories, and you can find the value in the price of each and every trim: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L Navi, and Touring. But rest assured that each trim comes equipped with all the essentials that make an Accord the best mid-size yet. Come visit Honda and inquire about the new 2018 Honda Accord, for sale or for lease in the fall of 2017 (hybrid in the winter). Take the new Accord for a test drive and discover how Honda has used ten generations of Accords to create the newly designed 2018 Honda Accord.
