2019 Honda CR-V Trims
The 2019 CR-V is the best compact SUV crossover in its segment! There are, however, a few trims from which to choose, and we want to clarify some of the differences. By doing so, Keating Honda hopes to guide you into the trim that’s just right for you. We proudly serve the citizens of Keating, Houston, Conroe, The Woodlands, Victoria, College Station, Kingwood, and beyond. Now, we proudly introduce you the CR-V’s four different trims.
The powerplant in the LX is a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine; being naturally aspirated simply means that there is no turbo or supercharger. The CVT with Sport mode seamlessly gets you from zero to adventure in the blink of an eye. The LX trim has some great amenities that make it a great value. It gets 17” alloy wheels, LED Daytime Running Lights, a remote entry system, power side windows, bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a multi-angle rearview camera. All-wheel drive is available on the LX, and all other trims.
Starting with the EX trim of this year’s Honda CR-V, the power comes from a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo 4-cylinder. Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock are on the EX to make your life easier. Honda Sensing Suite, which is a plethora of safety features, isn’t the only addition when you decide on the EX trim. A 7-inch display help you control your media. Your media is easily accessible since Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are integrated into the headunit. Remote engine start, a 12-way adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control, HondaLink, and One-Touch Power Moonroof round up the features of the EX trim.
Stepping up to the EX-L trim means added features, on top of all of the EX’s features. In the EX-L trim, you’ll find leather trimmed interior. The driver’s seat gets the added bonus of having two memory settings. The audio system still gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but you’ll now hear your media through an eight speaker 180-watt sound system. There are integrated turn signals on the side mirrors, which now match the exterior. Additionally, the side mirrors are heated. A HomeLink Remote system, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, and a powered tailgate roundup the convenient extras of this trim.
The Touring trim inherits all of the EX-L’s features, and gets some very handsome add-ons. The tailgate is still powered, but it’s a Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate. The audio system gets an additional speaker and an added 150-watts, for a total of 330-watts. LED Headlights with Auto-On/Off and Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers add yet more convenience the 2019 Honda CR-V Touring Trim. A Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System helps you stay on the right path. And topping off the Touring Trim, are roof rails and Dual Chrome Exhaust Finishers.
No matter how you look at it, the CR-V is the best vehicle in its segment. Every trim has quality as its cornerstone, and you can’t go wrong with any of the trims. All-wheel drive is optional on every trim, but remember that the bold Honda emblem indicates that quality, efficiency, and longevity come standard on every vehicle bearing the coveted “H.”
